York House Inn Policies
The York House Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. An advanced payment of one nights stay is taken upon reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days* prior to your arrival date, by 4:00 PM local time to cancel your reservation without penalty.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made less applicable processing fees.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
*A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, multiple room bookings and for some holidays and special events.
Check-in: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements. We are a small Inn, no 24 hour front desk here!
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Absolutely No Smoking inside or on the porches; however, designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
No Pets. We love our pets, we have a cat and a dog; but are NOT pet friendly lodging for the comfort of all of our guests.Note: while most guests love our pets, we are happy to corral them should you be sensitive. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet locally.
Well governed children 12 and up are welcome. Special situations such as whole Inn rental allow for younger children.
We are sorry, as a small Inn we do not offer any additional discounts( ie AAA, Military etc). Room rates are non-commisionable.
State Tax (7%) and local Lodging Tax (5%) and State Transportation Lodging Tax ($5.00 per room per night effective 7/1/15) are subject to change.
Quiet time at the Inn is 10:00pm-7:00am
