York House Amenities

The York House Inn offers a number of amenities for groups and all guests. The Inn sits on 4.5 acres with large varied grounds. Two expansive lawns are located on either side of the building.

The area behind the house is wooded and includes a Hemlock Forest with a cleared alcove, which is a great site for a weddings and celebration and quiet reflection. A creek runs along the Hemlock Forest. A kitchen is available for guest use as well as an outdoor patio for grilling or gathering.

The Inn offers over 1000 square feet of meeting space downstairs and is connected by a corridor to the upstairs living room and dining rooms, offering 500 additional square feet, which can also be used for group gatherings. A unique feature for a building of this age is that all rooms have private baths and entrances, offering unique privacy to all guests.

For any event the Inn offers a preferred list of vendors, particularly catering. Finally, the restored former servants’ quarters are a wonderful, intimate gathering point, which fully reflects the history of the period.
